Silvio Mondinelli reaches the top of Broad Peak (8.042m) and becomes the sixth men in the history to have climbed all the 14 mountains of the earth above 8.000m without oxygen. He wears Gronell's boots with OutDry Technology.

Silvio Mondinelli, with his mate Marco Confortola left Camp III at midnight for the summit push. After more than 12 hours climbing, in very tough weather conditions (snowing, cold and strong wind) and obliged to create a trail in the deep snow, they have reached the top of Broad Peak (8.042 m)

At 12,30 a.m. Pakistan time, Silvio Mondinelli have so completed his "14th 8.000ers" quest. In 21 years, after Rheinold Messner (ITA) exploit, only other four men did it without oxygen support: Erhard Loretan (SUI), Juanito Oiarzabal (ESP), Alberto Inurrategi (ESP) and Ed Viesturs (USA). Now Mondinelli have joined them and can be probably considered the strongest Himalayan climber in activity.

Slivio Mondinelli boots are specially made by the italian footwear maker
GRONELL using OUTDRY, a unique and patented technology for waterproofness and insulation in the most extreme climate conditions.
